Do You Believe in Miracles?

Do you want to see a miracle happen on the

?  You can make it happen.

The 25th running of the TD Bank Philadelphia International Cycling Championship may be cancelled due to escalated city service costs, the loss of sponsorship funds and a difficult economic climate.  But an urgent call is being sent out this morning to the public to change that.  People have been contacting race organizers in droves since news broke last week about the race being in jeopardy; however, the race is still facing a six-figure budget gap.

How You Can Help:  If even a fraction of the fans who line the race course each year go online to right now to pledge their support, according to event organizer, Jerry Casale, “we’d have a bike race!”    That means if 25,000 fans give $10 or 50,000 fans give just $5, the bike race can be saved.

Race organizers have extended the announcement to tomorrow, Tuesday, April 28 as to whether or not the Philadelphia Championship can continue.  This is due to the momentum of public support that has been building over the last several days and to continued talks with a few, key potential sponsors.

Make your support count now with a purchase or donation by clicking here  (Please know that if the race is cancelled, all VIP ticket purchases will be refunded.  Donated funds along with proceeds from poster and decal purchases will be contributed to one or more cycling organizations in the DelawareValley that promote the development of the sport.)
